chrysanthemum twist

I have seen this gorgeous chrysanthemum on several blogs, and have even attempted it once before, shading each layer, and it turned out nicely. I decided I wanted to try it with printed paper from the level 1 hostess DSP Patterns Pack in Real Red. I layered it the same (following a picture I saved from http://www.crazystampgirl.com/) but this time changed the center using the snow flower punch and More Mustard from the same hostess pack, to make it a little like a poinsettia. I added a red rhinestone brad and leaves free handed from scraps of Holiday Treasures DSP, then backed the sentiment (also a level 1 hostess set - Best Yet) with 2 extra punches in Real Red from the curly label punch (one cut in half, the other turned sideways). I added dimensionals to the center of the flower, all the leaves, and the sentiment just to make it pop a little off the card.
